10 minutes far away from Gaeta, erected upon seren hill along the via Appia, Itri is an antique headquarter preroman and afterwards became a medieval village of which the castle ruins occur in the historical center. Itri, it’s also a vast green territory , the locust, the holm oak, the holm, but also, typically mediterranean, genista, rosmary, lentiscus, the antique olives vhich produce the famous "olive of Itri", also known as "olive of Gaeta".
Cranston, Rhode Island now is home to St Mary’s Church where a replica of the Madonna della Civita is honored with a Feast commemorating Her holy days in Itri.
